The article is devoted to the dynamic problems of studying strain state earth dams under impacts. A method developed for solving wave determine stress-strain structures, in particular, dams. Based on use finite difference method, an algorithm and calculation formulas were that have second-order accuracy time coordinates. advantage implementation complex nonlinear deformation models, taking into account structural changes moisture content soil. In example Charvak dam, distribution stress over cross-section dam action its own weight determined problem behavior influence short-term harmonic loads numerically solved. change intense stresses at some points determined.
